1) About this page
This Disclaimer explains the limits of our responsibility for website content, product information, images, and third-party services used to run the store.
2) Handcrafted nature
- Our sarees are handcrafted. Small variations in colour, weave, motif placement, measurements, or finish are natural and part of the craft.
- These variations are not defects and add to the individuality of each piece.
3) Colours & images
- We try to show colours accurately, but display settings and lighting can make items look different on screens.
- Product photos are for reference; the actual piece may have slight differences within the same design family.
4) Sizing, drape & care (guidance only)
- Any sizing, styling, or care tips are general guidance, not a guarantee of outcome.
- Fabric behaviour can vary by weave, weather, and use. Please follow the care label, when in doubt, dry clean.
5) Product info & availability
- Descriptions, specifications, and prices may be updated without notice to reflect new batches or corrections.
- Availability can change quickly, adding an item to cart does not reserve it until the order is confirmed.
6) Pricing, taxes & invoices
- Prices are shown in INR and include applicable Indian taxes unless stated otherwise.
- In case of a pricing error, we may correct or cancel the order before dispatch and process a refund if charged.
7) Shipping within India
- We sell and ship only within India. Timelines shown at checkout are estimates from our courier partners.
- Delays may occur due to local conditions. We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (weather, strikes, regulatory checks, etc.).
7) Exchange Only
Purchases made on pahirawa.com (India only) are eligible for exchange only — no returns or refunds to the original payment method.
To initiate an exchange, the customer must email info@pahirawa.com
within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, unstitched, and unaltered (no pico/fall, tassels, or blouse stitching), with all original tags, invoice, and packaging intact.
Customized or altered items, items marked non-exchangeable, and items failing quality checks are not eligible for exchange.
The exchanged or replaced product will be delivered within 5–6 business days.
Defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the parcel and product. Where serviceable, Pahirawa may arrange reverse pickup; otherwise, customers must self-ship via a trackable courier. Goods remain the customer’s responsibility until received and inspected.
Acceptance of any exchange is subject to Pahirawa quality check. If the requested replacement is unavailable, the customer may choose another product of equal value. No store credit or refund will be issued in any case.
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available; however, delivery charges will apply and must be paid at the time of order placement.
Minor variations in color, weave, print placement, or artisanal irregularities are inherent to handcrafted products and do not constitute defects.
Pahirawa reserves the right to modify this policy, apply applicable pickup/reshipment fees notified at service time, and decline non-compliant requests.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this Exchange-Only Policy.
9) Third-party services & links
- We use trusted third-party providers (payment gateways, couriers, hosting, email/SMS). Their own terms and policies apply to their services.
- Links to other websites are for convenience, we do not control or endorse their content.
10) Reviews & user content
- Customer reviews and photos reflect personal views. They do not represent our guarantees.
- We may moderate or remove content that is unlawful, abusive, or misleading.
11) No professional advice
Content on this site (including styling tips or cultural notes) is informational. It is not professional, legal, or financial advice.
12) No warranties
- The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- While we take care, we do not promise the site will be uninterrupted or error-free at all times.
13) Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by Indian law, Pahirawa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products.
- For any direct claim, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.

You agree to indemnify and hold Pahirawa harmless from claims or losses arising from your misuse of the site, breach of our policies, or violation of law or third-party rights.

This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of India.
