We want your saree to feel right. If it doesn’t, we’ll help you exchange it—smoothly and on time.
1) Scope
This policy applies to sarees purchased on pahirawa.com for delivery within India.
2) Exchange window
- Place your exchange request within 7 days from the delivery date.
- After the window closes, we can’t accept requests.
The exchanged or replaced product will be delivered within 5-6 business days
- Refunds are not allowed, only exchanges are available on the website.
3) Eligibility
To qualify for exchange, your saree must be:
- Unused, unwashed, unaltered (no fall/pico, no blouse stitching attached).
- With original tags, invoice, and protective packaging intact.
Free from stains, fragrance, or wear marks. - Handcrafted note: Minor weave/print variations and slight colour differences are normal in artisanal sarees and are not defects.
4) Not eligible for exchange
- Customised/altered items (fall/pico, tassels, blouse stitching, length changes).
- Items marked “non-exchangeable” on the product page.
- Used/damaged items or parcels returned without tags/packaging.
- Free gifts/freebies (unless expressly stated otherwise).
5) Damaged or wrong item on delivery
If you receive a damaged/incorrect product:
Email info@pahirawa.com
within 48 hours of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos/videos of the parcel and product.
We’ll prioritise a replacement/exchange.
6) How to request an exchange (steps)
Email us: info@pahirawa.com
with order number, reason, and photos (if defect/damage).
- Approval & pickup: We’ll arrange a reverse pickup where serviceable.
If pickup is not available for your pincode, please self-ship via a standard, trackable courier and share the receipt. - Pack securely: Fold neatly; keep tags on; include the invoice; use original or similar protective packaging.
- Quality check: Once received, we complete a QC and update you.
7) QC outcomes
- Pass QC: We dispatch your exchange item.
- Fail QC: We return the item to you, exchange can’t be processed.
8) Exchange options & price difference
Same product, different colour/design: processed subject to availability.
Different product:
- If higher value, we’ll send a secure payment link for the difference.
- If lower value, we issue store credit for the balance (validity and terms will be stated in the credit email).
No refunds to the original payment method in any scenario.
9) Sale/offer items (including 50% OFF)
- Exchanges are allowed subject to stock.
- No refunds on discounted/offer items.
- If the requested exchange is unavailable, we issue store credit.
10) Multi-item orders & gifts
- You may exchange one or more items from a multi-item order (each must meet eligibility).
- Gifts: Exchanges are possible with order details (sender/recipient must provide order number and contact email/phone).
11) Shipping notes (India-only)
- We ship and exchange within India only.
The orders will be shipped within 1-2 business days. and the order will be delivered within 5 – 6 business days.
- Reverse pickup is arranged where serviceable, otherwise, self-ship with a standard courier and share tracking.
12) Cancellations
- Before dispatch: Email us to cancel.
- After dispatch: Please complete an exchange after delivery.
13) Colour display & artisanal variation
- We try to show colours in natural light, but device screens vary.
- Small differences in colour, motif placement, or weave are inherent to handcrafted work.
