Welcome to Pahirawa. By using our website and services, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.
We sell and ship within India only. All prices are in INR unless stated otherwise.
1) Acceptance of terms
By visiting, registering, or purchasing from our website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2) Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law to place orders. If you create an account, you are responsible for all activity under it.
3) Account & security
- Keep your login details confidential.
- Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend or close accounts involved in fraud, misuse, or policy violations.
4) Products, colours & availability
Our sarees are handcrafted. Minor variations in colour, weave, motif placement, or measurements are normal and part of the craft.
We try to display colours accurately, but screens differ.
Product availability can change; adding an item to cart does not reserve it.
5) Pricing, taxes & invoicing
- Prices are shown in INR and include applicable Indian taxes unless stated otherwise.
- We may correct pricing errors at any time. If a price changes after your order, we will contact you before processing.
- A tax invoice will be provided with your order or by email.
6) Orders & acceptance
- Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send a confirmation email.
- We may cancel or limit quantities due to stock issues, payment concerns, or policy reasons. Any charged amount for a cancelled order will be refunded.
7) Payments
- Payments are processed through trusted Indian payment gateways (e.g., UPI/cards/net-banking).
- We do not store full card or UPI credentials on our servers.
- If a payment fails but the amount is debited, it is usually reversed by your bank/gateway. Contact your bank/gateway for assistance; we will support with transaction references.
8) Shipping within India
- We deliver across India.
- Dispatch and delivery timelines shown at checkout are estimates. Delays may occur due to courier or local conditions.
- Title and risk pass to you on delivery to your address or to an authorised recipient at that address.
9) Exchange Only
Purchases made on pahirawa.com (India only) are eligible for exchange only — no returns or refunds to the original payment method.
To initiate an exchange, the customer must email info@pahirawa.com
within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused, unwashed, unstitched, and unaltered (no pico/fall, tassels, or blouse stitching), with all original tags, invoice, and packaging intact.
Customized or altered items, items marked non-exchangeable, and items failing quality checks are not eligible for exchange.
The exchanged or replaced product will be delivered within 5–6 business days.
Defective, damaged, or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the parcel and product. Where serviceable, Pahirawa may arrange reverse pickup; otherwise, customers must self-ship via a trackable courier. Goods remain the customer’s responsibility until received and inspected.
Acceptance of any exchange is subject to Pahirawa quality check. If the requested replacement is unavailable, the customer may choose another product of equal value. No store credit or refund will be issued in any case.
Cash on Delivery (COD) is available; however, delivery charges will apply and must be paid at the time of order placement.
Minor variations in color, weave, print placement, or artisanal irregularities are inherent to handcrafted products and do not constitute defects.
Pahirawa reserves the right to modify this policy, apply applicable pickup/reshipment fees notified at service time, and decline non-compliant requests.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to this Exchange-Only Policy.
11) Use of the website
You agree not to:
- violate any law,
- copy, scrape, or harvest content or data,
- upload harmful code or try to disrupt the site,
- impersonate another person,
- use automated tools to place bulk or speculative orders.
We may limit or block access for misuse.
12) Intellectual property
All content on the site—designs, photos, text, logos, and brand elements—is owned by Pahirawa or used with permission. You may not use, copy, or distribute our content without written consent.
13) Reviews & user content
If you post a review or upload content, you:
- promise it is your own and lawful;
- give us a non-exclusive licence to display and share it on our site and channels;
- agree we may remove content that is illegal, abusive, or misleading.
14) Third-party services & links
We may link to other sites or use third-party services (payment, courier, analytics, email/SMS). Their terms and policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
15) Privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy (see website). This includes how we collect, use, share, and protect your information and how you may exercise your rights.
16) Disclaimer of warranties
We provide the site and services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take care, we do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free at all times.
17) Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Pahirawa is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the order related to that claim.
18) Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Pahirawa harmless from claims, losses, or costs arising from: (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the site, or (c) your violation of another person’s rights or law.
19) Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Courts at Indirapuram, Uttar-Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction.
We encourage you to first write to info@pahirawa.com so we can resolve concerns quickly and fairly.
20) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when we add features or as laws change. We will post the revised date at the top and, if the changes are important, we will notify you on the site or by email.
